This map shows events with longterm precipitiation information (relative) only. If there is a surplus of information on extremely dry to dry conditions, the grid cell is brown. If there is more information on wet to extremely wet conditions, the grid cell is more green. The less saturated the diagram bar or the less opaque the grid cell on the map, the fewer events are stored in the database.
Select a time range and the map will update and show the spatial distribution of the selected temporal subset. You can drag the time range marker to update or click outside the marker to reset the view. To get further informations about events, click the maps 'rectangle button' (upper left side) and draw area of interest. You will get a link to search query result list.
